Description RYL is a well-balanced MMORPG developed under a 3D environment that allows players to create their own character, define its role, do battle with it, and much more in a virtual world. Risk Your Life English Version is set to go closed beta in February 2004. Great Game! Free Too. But Out of Date.
This game has been out since 2004 or earlier. The game is Free! Unless you want to buy in game items with real cash through the website. The PVP is fun and fast pased. This game is not in beta. This game is mostly played by asians because people dont understand the language. But it is out of date. RYL2 is out now at No one realy plays 1 anymore but there are thousands playing 2.

Cons
Servers in asia can be laggy at peek times.
This are translated from malaysian so things are labled wierd.
The engine is not too solid some clipping.

wow this game is baddest thing since... since well nothing its just baddest game everrrrr your char will get stuck it walls go through them get bugged when you die blahh blahh hackers blahhh items get deleted sometimes god it will make you wana puke feel sorry for people that were getting hiped for this game well who ever was gettting hiped like maybe 2 or 3 or so fell sorry for you guys and people that havent played stay away or you will lose your eyes cause you will pull them out your self every sec of this game is crap quest done even make since all it said for you too do is go kill certian amount of somethen and well thats just about all this game has too offer some stay away when i mean away I MEAN away goodbye STAY AWAY

Hmm...Good Game To Waste Time...
I like the game a bit...It is not everyday you see a game in which you charge up your magic attacks. The Battle when in keyboard mode makes you feel like you playing Ghost Recon 2. I Like this game.

Romp Your Lemurs
What do you guys want exactly as far as PVP goes? There's nothing more they can offer that hasn't been offered in other titles. Free for all (shadowbane), side vs side (WoW), closed pvp (GuildWars), no-pvp (carebears omgz!). There's nothing original left to do that hasn't been covered. The fact is, stop basing your review of a game off of the generalized dynamics of the player vs. player system. A good PvP system is made through a good..well...a good everything else. However that said this game lacks "everything else" as well as PvP. The only good part I noticed were the animations of the archers. I had fun firing one arrow after another like Legolas. Then I realized shortly after that other then that the game was bland and boring. While its free and has a decent sized community, thats about all it really has going for it.

3/10 - You can try it out, however don't expect much. The only thing it has going for it is that it somehow got syndicated to the shelves of places like Best Buy, and somehow can fund contests that offer a 1 million dollar prize.

Boring with no content.
As the header says, this is one of the most dull and boring games ever, with absolutely no end-game content of any kind.

Reminds me of WoW as lvl 60 with full epic gear = utter shit.

Unreasonably dull..
This game is dull. The landscapes are dull, the player models are dull, the community is dull, the weapons look dull.. it looks like someone scraped together a bunch of amateur coders and animators (or whomever they hire to develop those crappy models), and threw it all into a .exe that installs into a game that rivals sewers in crappiness. Not to mention, when they say 'Risk Your Life', they really mean something different. After three hours of gameplay, I felt like they should've called it 'Take Your Life', because that's pretty much what it does.

It takes your life, and leaves you wishing you had all that time back. I know I do.

However, it promises alot of player killing, an option that, though enticing at first, you realize that it simply steals the concept from World of Warcraft as far as wars amongst players. Two sides, one battlefield. Go out there and kill each other. -yawn- Yeah. Like we haven't seen that before.

And this game will, eventually, become P2P (pay to play). Don't waste your money, nor your time with this game. It's horrible.

I simply can't think of a way to enjoy this game..
To me it seems that all there is to do is level, upgrade your weapon, explore the dull land-scapes, duel and run around in circles... ...It's like Diablo II, but in full 3D and without the compelling story and the interesting scenery...
...and as somebody said before me: The Battle.net kiddies have found their way in! Good god, I'm so tired of the "BUYING GOOD SWORD! PM ME!" "SELLING SPENS 50K!" "SELLING SKILLZ!" "how u open inventory!" "BUYING THIS, SELLING THAT!"
Here's a question: "how u not hear anybody without getting disconnected from chat server all i find is party and guild n it doesnt work because im not in 1"

The fighting feels dreadfully boring from my part. Get some skills, run up to a monster, click and hold the left mouse button (or rapid-click, or use mouse mode and just click once), and use the number keys on your taskpad to switch skills and use them with mouse-2... ...Diablo II, but somehow the battles don't feel as amusing here either.

I could go on and on about what I hate about his game. I realise it's just a beta, but I think they have to re-work the entire concept if they want me to play this...

Looks to be using the same engine as that game at least, and if it's anything like it...

stay away.

Or rather keep playing during open beta if you find it reasonably fun to kill things over and over and over, but if you are even considering paying actualy money for this game you need help.

Battlenet Kiddies...
This game is okay. The only giant problem I have with it is the other people who play it. People are either "Inuyasha1921921", "Amazn", "John1334555" or some other dumb name (and their name reflects their gameplay). Most people who play this game are people you'd expect to see playing Diablo all the time. They're mostly annoying little pricks who think they're awesome because they got into an Open Beta. If all these kiddies get weeded out in retail, then this game could be saved.
