Betawatcher.com is run by a small group of friends who are all avid computer gamers. Like most gamers we have an unhealthy fascination with beta-testing. We all peruse game boards and developer sites looking for the next big beta. During our searches it became apparent there was no single resource that could give us the information we seek in a clear and easy to navigate site. That is our goal.
Betawatcher is setting out to be the webs premiere source for anything involving games and betas. There is nothing more frustrating than missing a 24 hour beta sign up for a game you have been excited about for 3 months. We aim to help that. With one site you can check the latest news and status of your favorite games in development.
We will have a news letter that is customized to user preferences which will keep them informed on the status of their chosen game genre's. Members will get an E-mail within moments of games opening their sign-up site, or going into open beta. No longer will you be a day late and a dollar short to register.
We also intend to build an extensive database of interested betatesters for game developers to utilize. We hope to become known for our most valuable resource, YOU. Ideally we hope to send out notifications of beta entry without you ever having to sign up. Game companies can come to us with a request of 4,000 beta testers with varying degrees of experience, and we will send you an e-mail, inviting you to take part.
Our goals are clear, our team is focused, and with your help we can all help to shape our worlds.
