7/25/2008 12:19:00 PM Fileplanet seems to be offering a limited number of keys, and they are flying away like...like something far too fast!
Keep an eye out at
http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/redalert3/
Good luck!
EDIT: As Mullen1200(Thanks) pointed out, there doesn't seem to be many, if any more keys floating around, so don't rush off and buy a sub assuming you'll get a key! |

A quick note about submissions... |

7/4/2008 11:17:00 PM Hello BetaWatchers! I just wanted to take a moment to define something for the community in regards to submissions. As the BW team moves forward to a new layout for the website (due later this year) I wanted to take this opportunity to inform everyone of what we would like to see in the future with submissions.
Obviously the editors have their hands full most of the time so you are most certainly our eyes and ears on the interwebz . When submitting information regarding new betas to the website please make sure to submit it just once and with as much information as possible.
Take the time to make sure you enter the complete URL for your submissions including any pretexts like "http://" and so on so that we may quickly review them and post them for everyone to see.
Also, please be aware that as we move forward we will begin to provide more in-depth information about our games we list as well as BW staff reviews and feedback. That being said, we will be refining our lists to accommodate the titles in an easy to understand system.
So you will likely see less and less of those good old, low budget "click-to-move" (no offense to the fams of these titles) games and start seeing titles with higher quality and investigated detail for our team (or at least from me) in order to provide you with more information at a faster pace and prevent anyone from having to do any un-needed research.
That is our job right?
So I would like to say thank you to our active community members, once again remind you to be mindful when submitting information for the editors to review and get ready for the BetaWatcher.com of the future.
Also, on a more personal note; If you would like to submit titles to me personally or have any particular title (old or new) that you would like me to consider for an in depth review you are welcome to do so directly. Just send me an email to Nimbis(at)betawatcher.com and I will look it over. Hey, you can even send an email to say hello and tell me your experiences with the BW site and it's editors if you'd like...
I look forward to hearing from you all and happy gaming! |

7/4/2008 8:19:00 PM Recently announced on Blizzard Entertainment's official website is the latest addition to the Diablo franchise! That's right kiddies, Diablo III!
Also, late coming, but since we are adding in the Blizzard titles at this time we will go ahead and add in StarCraft 2 as well.
In a third addition of news, Blizzard is now allowing active subscribers of World of Warcraft to "Opt In" to their upcoming BETA for the expansion Wrath of the Lich King.
Thanks everyone for all the submissions and updates on these titles! Hopefully we can get some of you in!
Until then. |

7/4/2008 1:51:00 PM Alright here's the first wave of updates I got for you today, I'll be updating the game page as I go along.
First off we got Warrior Epic, an MMORPG that recently went into Closed Beta. The game isn't too graphics intensive, so people who want to game with some lower end computer should take a shot at signing up to their website, then doing the "Apply for CB" button in your user control on their website: http://www.warriorepic.com/playnow.aspx
Thanks to Crake for the first Headsup on that one!
Next we got Wizard 101 that just entered Open Beta. Ok, I really have no idea what to call this, so MMORPG is going to work. It's mainly focused for teens and younger audiences, but to be honest I am going to give this one a quick look. From what I gather looks like you create a wizard apprentice and you work your way through the Wizard school here doing quests and such to tone your magic skills. I'll have to do a bit more in-depth digging on this one but it does look a little interesting to me. https://www.wizard101.com/
Thanks to Femur Jones for this!
Mythwar2 is a free MMORPG That entered Open Beta on June 26th, looks kinda like one of those standard cookie cutter MMO's but I havn't been able to spend much time on this one digging through the site. The download and signup pages are on their home page here http://mw2.igg.com/main.php
And for this you can thank Darkkol |
